Independence Day is celebrated annually in the Russian Federation on June 12. This important public holiday is accompanied by mass celebrations, concerts and sporting events. In Moscow, as in other cities, celebrations are held at the most popular venues. In Kolomenskoye Park, the main event was organized at the famous Potato Field, which housed a 10x12-meter elevator-type scenic complex with portals. A 6x8-meter arched stage for sporting events was installed in a clearing near the Tsar's Courtyard. On Voznesenskaya Square, near the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, a small gable stage measuring 5x8 meters was equipped, specially prepared for the performance of the orchestra.
Modern equipment was used to ensure comfort: a remote tower, a tent, a 5x5-meter pagoda, as well as furniture, rectangular tables and comfortable chairs. The holiday has traditionally united residents and guests of the capital.
